Tesco's store on Victoria Road in Douglas is closed due to an incident today, Friday, August 8.
Customers reported being evacuated by staff this afternoon, with the supermarket saying it's due to a maintenance issue.
Other customers said they were told it was due to a "structural problem" at the supermarket.
The emergency services were not involved.
