A woman's thanked a delivery driver who leapt into the sea to rescue her beloved pet this week.
Jenny Allison took to Facebook after her dog Eddie jumped into the sea at the end of Peel Promenade on Tuesday.
And things didn't look good with the rough seas and blustery winds - until a van driver came to the rescue, entering the sea and getting a soaking… but bringing Eddie safely back to shore.
Jenny says she was so shaken she didn't get the driver's name but thanked him sincerely, adding she and her husband were extremely grateful he was there and willing to help.
