The Island's information commissioner says four in five Freedom of Information requests have been answered on time this year.
The ICO has published a new dashboard with the latest data about the requests people put in to public bodies.
The figures show over the last quarter 82 per cent of FOI requests were answered within the statutory 20 days - seven per cent under the two-year average.
And the numbers also show just five organisations account for two-thirds of FOI queries - Manx Care, the Department of Infrastructure, the Treasury, Cabinet Office and Department for Enterprise.
