A yacht club based in the south of the Island says it has reservations about Port St Mary losing one of its lifeboats.
Last month, the RNLI revealed the Trent-class all-weather lifeboat at the Lime Street station won't be replaced when it comes to the end of its life in 2028.
Now, the Isle of Man Yacht Club has issued a statement on social media saying its shares the community's sadness and nervousness at the decision.
And the club's questioned if the station can keep the same level of capability, resilience and speed once it moves to having an inshore boat only.
