It’s exactly a month until the nationwide release of TT3D: Closer to the Edge.
Despite this work is still ongoing with the movie, with the extremely time consuming job of converting normal film to 3D expected to take right upto the deadline.
Critics have seen a rough version however and glowing reviews have been pouring in from all of the main monthly film magazines.
Producer Steve Christian told 3FM that the biggest challenge has been ensuring the film appeals to a broad demographic of people, not just the biking enthusiasts.
It follows the action from last year’s TT, cataloguing the dramatic events of Guy Martin’s crash and Ian Hutchinson’s 5 wins, all in 3D.
The film will be getting it’s first official screening on Island on the 18th April, before it’s nationwide release and UK premiere on the 22nd.
Producer Steve has said throughout the whole filmmaking process the pressure has been on to ensure it does both the TT, and the Isle of Man justice.
