The Treasury has written off almost £341,000 in overpaid benefits in the last three years.
The figures was given in response to a question for written reply from Douglas North MHK John Wannenburgh.
He asked Treasury Minister Chris Thomas about the amounts wrongly paid but which the government had given up on reclaiming.
Mr Thomas said the total had been just under £140,000 a year until last year, when it dropped sharply to just over £63,000.
