A Nigerian man who took his family to an employment tribunal has been awarded £941 because he wasn't given payslips.
Tolani Emmanuel Okunola took out a claim against Oris de Master's Snack Shack at the Bottleneck Car Park on Douglas Promenade after a row which he claimed saw him sacked but the business says resulted in him resigning.
Mr Okunola - who was described as either the son or nephew of the owner - was involved in a physical altercation with his family after it emerged he might have to return to his home country because he didn't have a job.
ChaiRman Douglas Stewart said both sides' evidence was unreliable and their credibility tainted but found payslips hadn't been issued and awarded Mr Okunola two weeks' pay.
