A church in Onchan has applied for permission to carry out repairs to stop damp getting into the building.
St Peters Church on Church Road has applied for registered building consent to scrape off cement pointing and replace it with lime mortar.
In its application it says the inside of the building is being damaged by water leaking into it.
It says work has already been done on the east wall, but repairs are now needed on the north and south sides.
