Santa Dash winner just 6 seconds shy of record time

This afternoon's Santa Dash saw more than 100 people decked out in their best Father Christmas costumes all in the name of charity.

Winner Ryan Fairclough completed the route around Douglas town centre in four minutes and 26 seconds - just six seconds short of last year's record time.

The winner was racing in aid of Motor Neurons Research and joined the many others competing for numerous Manx charities.

Just before the race got under way we caught up with some competitors who told us more about why they were taking part.
