Police Appeal Following Unprovoked Assault

Man Left With Serious Facial Injuries

At about 1.20am this morning a male was assaulted outside the Istanbul Kebab House on Marina Road in Douglas.

A 23-year-old man was struck in the face, which resulted in him being detained in Nobles with serious facial injuries.

Police believe the assault to be unprovoked.

Anyone who witnessed the attack are urged to contact the police immediately.

In particular police want to speak to two men, one described as having a shaven head and being of stocky build speaking with a Liverpool accent.  The other is described as being tall and of thin build with short spiked mousey coloured hair, both in their mid twenties.
