Passengers on the early morning ferry from Heysham should leave themselves a little extra time to get to the port this month.
National Highways says it's resurfacing the M6's northbound lane between junctions 33 and 34.
It'll mean that section of motorway will close from 9pm to 6.30am each weeknight, and until 7.30am each Saturday, from Monday, June 29 until Saturday, July 18.
Traffic will be diverted through Lancaster on the A6 and traffic is expected to be heavy at times.
