Health Minister Claire Christian says the Island's sexual health clinic gets around 300 phone calls a week - and Manx Care is considering an online appointments system.
In the House of Keys this week she faced questions from Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse about the Manx Integrated Sexual Health Centre on Kensington Road in Douglas.
The minister said so far there'd been no work on actually setting up the system or to find out how much it had cost.
But she dismissed claims the hundreds of phone calls it received each week meant it was struggling to cope with demand:
