Could beer tents at next years TT be allowed to operate for longer?
The Department of Home Affairs has launched a public consultation asking for peoples views on whether to allow occasional licences for 21 days instead of 14 between May 27 and June 16 next year.
According to officials, the proposals - which are a joint vision of the DHA and Department for Enterprise - are aimed at offering more ways for locals and visitors to enjoy the racing fortnight.
Those who wish to put forward their opinions can do so on the online government consultation hub before the deadline on November 1.
