Free period products are set to become more accessible on the Isle of Man following the announcement of Royal Assent at Tynwald earlier this month.
The Period Products Act (Free Provision) 2026 aims to tackle period poverty and ensure people can access essential products with dignity.
The legislation was brought forward by Joney Faragher MHK and follows similar schemes in Scotland and Northern Ireland to improve access and reduce stigma around it.
Ms Faragher says period products are an essential, not a luxury, and nobody should have to worry about whether they can afford them.
