A tiny Manx kitten who was rescued in Douglas city centre has been given a happy ending.
Last week, volunteers spent days trying to rescue the tiny fluffball after she turned out to be too small to set off cat traps.
But she was eventually taken into care - and her new mum Samantha Ford has posted to Facebook to say she's now called Poppy, after poppyseed bread, because she'd been found near the former Noa Bakehouse building on Fort Street.
Samantha says two weeks later, after a bath, flea treatments and some love Poppy's now settled in to become a loving cat.
