A scheme is being introduced on the Isle of Man to support the local fishing industry and prevent 'hobby fishermen' selling on the cheap.
All buyers and sellers of first sale fish are being asked to register with the Government.
It has been launched to assist those who are legitimate to achieve the market price for their catches.
The UK have had such a scheme in place since 2005.
Initially it's a voluntary scheme which will become compulsory later this year.
