A much-loved firefighter from the north of the Island is retiring after more than three decades of service.
Ramsey Fire Station Officer Chris Blatcher joined the Fire and Rescue Service in 1994, becoming Officer in Charge at Ramsey in 2018.
Chief Fire Officer Mark Christian described him as an outstanding public servant who has left a lasting legacy through his dedication to both the service and the community.
During his 32-year career, Chris has been awarded both the 20 and 30 Year Long Service and Good Conduct medals in recognition of his commitment and dedication.
