The infrastructure minister can't say what work is planned by his department's road patching team, because the situation changes too often.
Tim Crookall was responding to a Tynwald question for written reply from Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse.
Mr Moorhouse had asked if the minister would publish the work plan of the team until October, but Mr Crookall replied this wouldn't be possible.
He explained the unplanned maintenance programme is constantly being updated because of new road defects, weather, crashes and emergency work.
