MHK demands answers after Bloomberg report on King Gaming

An MHK wants to know how much government money has been given to an e-gaming company which was raided by police.

Rushen member Michelle Haywood has tabled a Tynwald question for written reply to Enterprise Minister Tim Johnston about King Gaming Ltd.

She wants to know why any financial support was given, under what scheme, and whether it was authorised by high-ranking government officials.

A major investigation by Bloomberg recently alleged the government missed red flags surrounding the online gambling company.
