Chickens have been spotted roaming wild in Glen Roy in Laxey.
Garff Commissioners discussed the issue at its meeting last night – and wants to remind residents that it is a criminal offence to abandon the animals.
The local authority says people have been feeding the chickens out of their own goodwill.
Commissioner Mel Christian says she’s not sure why people are leaving the poultry animals.
