The charity behind raising money to buy and install a new hyperbaric chamber on Island is approaching a big milestone.
HBOT IOM says with £300,000 in donations received since they began in March last year, they now need another £70,000 to be able to make a first stage payment to place the order for a new chamber.
The group says a further £368,000 needs to be generated to finish the entire project.
Charity Administrator, Debbie Barron, says: "This is a wonderful stage to have reached and particularly when this year has been so difficult for our island’s community.
We very much appreciate the continued public support and would appeal to anyone who would like to raise funds for a charity to please consider ourselves when taking part in events over the festive season or scheduling events in 2021 or looking for a charity to champion.
Together our islands community can make this happen."
