Government will be appointing a consultant to help attract expressions of interest for a wind farm in Manx waters.
Areas for development have been earmarked already, with Tynwald committing earlier this year to explore opportunities to develop offshore energy production for export to the UK.
It’s anticipated that an energy company deal would generate millions for government coffers.
