An electric double decker bus will be in use on Island over TT.
MHK Daphne Caine posted pictures on social media, saying 'it has 200 mile range and made good speed up Richmond Hill.'
Mrs Caine added that new buses need to be invested in 'if we are going to retain reliable public transport.'
To buy a new e-bus with Isle of Man specific seats would cost around £500,000.
