The Manx National Farmers Union is urging people not to take lambs that look abandoned.
On Facebook, the organisation says lots of young lambs are out enjoying the sunshine in the countryside - but often well-meaning people take or interfere with lambs they think have been abandoned.
It says the babies are perfectly usually fine and their mums are nearby but can be well hidden.
And it adds the bond between mother and lamb is vital for their welfare - if you have concerns you should contact the farmer, or the police.
