The Department for Enterprise won't release the figures for how much it costs to insure the Island's motorcycle races, because it doesn't hold the policies.
That's according to the response to a Freedom of Information request, which wanted to know the sums the Auto-Cycle Union paid to cover the TT, Manx Grand Prix and Southern 100.
The Department says the policies are held by the ACU and Southern 100 Club.
It adds it also won't disclose the figures because they're commercially sensitive information.
