Liverpool airport is advising passengers to allow extra time getting to the airport this weekend.
John Lennon Airport says planned road closures and diversions could cause significant delays for airport-bound passengers.
It says people needing to get to the airport on the weekends of the 9th and 10th and 16th and 17th August should allow plenty of additional time to travel.
A 13 mile diversion will be in place around the area of South Liverpool as a result.
