The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture says it's deleted a logo described in a Freedom of Information request as "dreadful", "downright offensive" and "simply slapdash".
Someone asked for a copy of the Council of Ministers approval for the logo, which appeared on a DEFA document about its agri-environmental scheme.
In their request they said the AI-generated image featuring a derelict barn and a two-headed chicken would have needed approval from ministers under the government's corporate identity guidelines.
In its response, DEFA said it hadn't asked the Council of Ministers to approve the logo and had now deleted it after feedback, adding its graphic design could be improved.
