A company's applied to build a digital billboard at the entrance to the Island's airport.
Carrera Media Group of Victoria Street in Douglas says it would put the sign at Ronaldsway.
Under the proposals a display screen would be bolted to an aluminium aerofoil called The Wing, standing 15 feet high and 21 feet wide.
The company says it would pay to install the display, which wouldn't be visible from the main road.
