A school's appealing to parents to help avoid traffic carnage on the first day of the new academic year this week.
Ballakermeen High School on St Catherine's Drive in Douglas took to Facebook to ask parents not to bring vehicles onto school grounds.
It says students returning this Thursday, September 3, will mean it's a busy day on the campus.
