A salvage company from the south of the Island has told people not to buy electric vehicles.
Mann Recovery Services, based in Ballasalla, took to Facebook after shipping three scrap EVs to the UK.
It says the cost of having to ship them away can run to thousands of pounds because of safety regulations - which the firm says threatens their financial viability.
And it ends the post with "In short... don't buy an EV."
