The Department of Infrastructure says it's put an emergency closure in place on East Quay in Peel.
A stretch from the marina slipway until to just before the junction with Station Place is closed to pedestrians and traffic.
It's so Manx Utilities can carry out emergency repairs.
The closure order is in force until 4.30pm on Wednesday, September 2.
