Ramsey Commissioners have thanked the probation service after a team of people doing community service restored a garden at a sheltered housing complex.
The gardens at Kerroo Glass saw extensive work to tidy up the lawns, clear weeds and rubbish and improve the facility.
The local authority says the enhancements show people can make meaningful contributions to society, even in the face of challenges.
It also praised the Island's Probation Service for its involvement.
