Braddan Commissioners say they've budgeted to support four new projects this year.
The news follows a decision to reduce rates for the fifth year in a row.
Commissioners say in addition to the running of the authority they will fund a handful of projects which will help improve the community.
Various improvements are being considered for the Heritage Trail to try and promote the use of it as an active travel route to Douglas.
A 'master plan' for the Cronk Grianagh Park, and the implementation of a Woodland Management Plan, will also be brought forward to ensure the areas are 'safeguarded' for future generations.
Safety surfacing at playgrounds will also be upgraded.
