A woman's admitted causing a crash which cost a biker his leg.
Samantha Janet Franklin of Manor Lane in Farmhill will be sentenced on March 6 after pleading guilty to causing serious bodily harm by driving without due care and attention.
Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes heard the 43 year old hit the biker with her Toyota Corolla as she turned off the Ramsey coast road on August 30 last year, during the Festival of Motorcycling.
The court heard the man's right leg had to be amputated above the right knee.
Franklin was bailed in the sum of £500 to appear again next month.
