Temperatures are expected to reach 28 degrees Celsius on the Island today, matching the current record from 1983.
Northern areas should get the highest temperatures with other areas reaching up to 25 degrees, peaking around midday or early afternoon.
3FM spoke to Kirsty Pendlebury from the Ronaldsway Met Office, who gave some tips on staying safe in the heat:
