Zara Phillips narrowly missed out on Olympic Gold today riding a Manx owned horse.
High Kingdom is owned by local tycoon Trevor Hemmings, who has been a keen supporter of the Queen’s granddaughter throughout her riding career.
She has previously stated that she wouldn't have got where she has without his support.
Despite getting Silver in her first Olympics it will still be a bitter blow to Zara who knocked a fence down during the show jumping stage of the three day eventing category.
Trevor Hemmings has had great success in the past with his horses, with Ballabriggs winning 2011’s Grand National.
In terms of his local endeavours his investment in Ramsey has seen the creation of the new Ramsey Park Hotel scheduled to open soon.
