A yellow weather warning will be in place on the Island from tonight.
Ronaldsway Met Office says coastal overtopping is expected at high tide just after 10.30pm tonight with strong winds also forecast.
It's added this will affect promenades in Douglas, Ramsey, Laxey, Castletown and Port St Mary along with parts of Shore Road.
The notice will be in place from 8.30pm this evening until 12.30am on Wednesday.
