There's a chance to see Douglas lifeboat station before it's demolished and rebuilt in a huge modernisation programme.
The Sir William Hillary is due to be replaced by a new Shannon-class vessel, and the boathouse redeveloped.
But before it's pulled down, the RNLI says there'll be an open evening for the public to see the lifeboat and find out about its work.
The open day takes place this weekend on Saturday, 6 January, from 11am until 4pm.
