An Onchan man's appearance on Britain's Got Talent was cut short at the weekend - despite his famous namesake.
47-year-old IT worker Simon Cowell appeared on the talent show in a bid to win over judges with his spoon balancing.
But despite sharing a name with the ITV programme's most famous judge, he was knocked out of the contest to perform at the Royal Variety Show.
