The Office of Fair Trading is warning the public about a phone scam targeting Island residents.
The OFT says scammers are contacting people claiming to be from HM Revenue and Customs, saying they're going to sue over unpaid tax bills.
However, the calls are an attempt to harvest people's personal and financial details.
The OFT says don't reply to the message, and warn your family and friends about the scam.
