An MHK's been given permission to ask an urgent question in Tynwald after the Department of Infrastructure wrote to tenants about rent arrears.
The letters told people in public housing they owed money because they'd been paying at the end of the month instead of the start.
When the court sits on Tuesday, October 21, Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse will ask Infrastructure Minister Michelle Haywood about the letters.
He wants to know when the problem was discovered and what discussions were held before the letters were sent out.
