Unplanned TT pregnancies spark "ride safe" message

If you're getting into the TT festival spirit this year, wear a condom!

So say Public Health and Manx Care, who've launched a sexual health campaign for this year's TT with the headline 'You wouldn't ride without a helmet… don't take the risk. Wear a condom'.

They're urging people to practise safer sex, get tested regularly and seek advice when you need it.

The Manx Integrated Sexual Health Centre says it sees a rise in unplanned pregnancies after the TT period - and the number of sexually transmitted infections is still high.
