Two weather warnings remain in place this morning.
Ronaldsway Met Office says a warning for coastal overtopping runs until 4pm - exposed roads on the coast may see waves washing over them.
Areas most likely to be affected at high tide at 2pm today are northern and central parts of Douglas promenade, Castletown, Laxey and Ramsey promenades and Shore Road in Rushen.
Meanwhile, a warning over gales and severe gales runs until 8am.
Last night saw windspeeds gusting up to 50 knots, or 57mph.
