TT Stars visit primary schools

Ballymoney’s Michael Dunlop and the Island’s own Dan Sayle made an unexpected visit to the schools after accepting an invitation from three student teachers there.

Jessica West, Sheila McMenamin and Catherine James are currently in their second year at Edge Hill University and undertaking an eight-week teaching practice.

The TT stars chatted to the children about the races and what motivates and drives them to achieve their goals and ambitions.

The pair also took part in the schools’ Friday afternoon assembly, where they presented certificates to for good quality work and positive attitudes.
