A Port St Mary man will stand trial after being accused of trying to import cannabis from Amsterdam.
50-year-old Junaid Danyal Bakhsi, of Shore Road, appeared at Douglas Courthouse yesterday.
He's been charged with being unlawfully concerned in the production of the Class B substance on July 21st - a charge he denies.
The court heard customs officials stopped a parcel allegedly heading for his home which contained herbal cannabis with a street value of £196.
A pre-trial review will take place on October 3rd - bail was granted.
