If you were holding your breath about universal basic income in next week's budget, you can let it out.
Treasury Minister Chris Thomas says there are no plans to introduce the idea - which would see money given to almost everybody despite their circumstances.
He was quizzed about the idea in the House of Keys by Onchan MHK Julie Edge this week.
Mr Thomas said it wasn't in his budget for this year, and hadn't been looked at by the Manx government:
