The Treasury Minister says engaging with the local business community ahead of next year’s Budget is vitally important.
He’s had more than 40 meetings with a cross-section of industries to discuss the economic outlook for 2013 and beyond.
The Treasury is currently working on a Budget framework and projections for the next three years to help assist other government departments with forward planning.
The focus is on stimulating economic growth, re-balancing finances and protecting the vulnerable.
