The Department of Infrastructure says it'll have temporary traffic lights in place at Ronaldsway Airport for three weeks while it replaces a pedestrian crossing.
It wants to swap the existing pelican crossing with a puffin crossing on the airport access road.
Work starts on Monday and there'll be temporary lights in place from 9am to 4pm each day.
The department says it may need to keep the signals in place 24 hours at times but will keep that to a minimum.
