A teenage motorist who was transferred to a UK hospital following a serious road traffic collision on Sunday has died.
He’s been named locally as 17-year-old Dosch MacLeod who attended King William's College.
It follows a crash near to the 11th milestone on the Ballacraine to Kirk Michael road at around 5pm.
His car – an Audi A4 – was travelling towards Kirk Michael when it was involved in a collision with a yellow Hyundai.
The two occupants of the second vehicle were taken to Noble’s Hospital with serious injuries.
Tributes have been paid to Dosch from his family and friends via social media – his brother says so many people were blessed by his ‘gently and kind heart’ in a short time.
