A strike date has now been announced at the UK's biggest exam board.
Workers at AQA plan to walk out on Monday, May 11 in a row over pay.
Assessors, exam paper writers and customer service staff will then start working reduced hours - meaning Island students may face longer waits for GSCE and A-level results.
Students are due to get their A-Level results on Thursday, August 13, with GCSE grades following a week after.
